In total 300 exemplars of the Skoda L were manufactured from 1941 to 1942. About 280 exemplars were sold to Yugoslavia. The Skoda L with 6x4 drive had a payload of 2.0 tons and was propelled by a six-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 66 HP and a cylinder capacity of 3.14 litres. The similar but all-wheel driven Skoda 6L differed by the more massive wheel hubs on the front axle and only four ventilation flaps per side in the side panels of the engine bonnet. The illustrated Skoda L of the Luftwaffe was photographed in Greece in 1943.
