Skoda 254 D / 254 G

The Skoda type 254 D was manufactured from 1935 to 1943. It was propelled by a 55 HP four cylinder diesel engine and it had a payload of 2.5 to 3.0 tons. All in all, 2,662 exemplars were made. Most probably, the illustrated vehicle corresponds to the original design from 1935.

Around 1938 or 1939, the design of the radiator grille was redesigned and a modernised driver’s cab was used. The illustrated later Skoda type 254 D was used by a unit of the Waffen-SS.
