The Steyr type XII N for a payload of one ton was manufactured from 1927 to 1929. In total 2,180 exemplars were made. The illustrated vehicle of the Luftwaffe is most probably a vehicle of the conclusion model with two rows of ventilation louvres and braces in the radiator grille.
