The designation Lastkraftwagen 2t, offen, gl - lorry 2 tons, open, cross-country - applied mainly to the Steyr 1500 A resp. 2000 A in the second half of the war. In the illustrated photo one can see, that special equipment was installed in the manner of special equipment kits. In this case, it was equipment for the building of telephone lines.
