The CO2 Löschgerät auf Anhängerfahrgestell A1 - CO2 fire extinguisher on trailer chassis A1 - was used by units of the Luftwaffe. Fires in the electrical installations of aircrafts and buildings could be extinguished with this device.

Five CO2 bottles were installed in the superstructure. The two branchpipes were located in special mountings on the roof of the superstructure.

Sadly, a large part of the superstructure of this CO2 Löschgerät is covered by camouflage material. Nevertheless, the typical design of the superstructure and the railing are clearly visible.
