The Feldbackofen M 1901 – field oven M 1901 – was introduced by the Austrian troops before the beginning of World War One. After Word War One, it was widely used by the successor states of the K. u. K. Monarchy. Numerous exemplars of this field oven were taken over by the Wehrmacht under the designation Backofenwagen (t). However, the shown Feldbackofen M 1901 was in use by Rumanian troops.
