Notschnelltanker als Anhänger (A2) fahrbar

The Notschnelltanker - highspeed refuling device - was based on the Anhängerfahrgestell A 2, zweiachsig, 1t. It was exclusively used by units of the Luftwaffe.

It was used for transporting of the Pumpensatz H 500, a fuel pump decice, pumping accessories and 150 meters hose line. During transport, it was stored inside of the trailer and the open toped trailer was covered with a tarpaulin.  For operation, the pump device was built up on the rear part of the trailer.

This refuling device was used when no tank lorries were available and it had to be refueled directly from fuel barrels, tank waggons or stationary tanks.
