The 3.7 cm Pak 36 (p) was developed by the Svedish company Bofors. In total 300 guns were delivered to Poland. In the following time the gun was manufactured under license in Poland. More than 1,100 guns of this type were available at the 1st September 1939. The Protze für 3.7 cm Pak 36 (p) was used by the infantry and the kavallry to make the gun movable. The illustrated 3.7 cm Pak 36 (p) with appropriate limber was used by a mountain unit of the Wehrmacht..
