Ski-Kufen – ski skids – were used to move guns in deep snow by the crewmen. According to the type of gun, a set of Ski-Kufen consisted of two Radkufen – skids for wheels – and one Spornkufe – skid for trail spade. Both ends of the skids were curved so that the gun could be towed in both directions. (Image from D 72)
