Hölzerner Schneepflug

The simplest horse drawn equipment for clearing the snow was the Hölzerner Schneepflug für Pferdegespann. This plough could be made by the troop under plaines conditions. It had a clearing width of 3 to 5.75 m and was drawn by two horses. The side wings could only be folded out when the plough was not moving. (Image from: Der Straßenwinterdienst Teil I)

More sophisticatedly constructed was the Hölzerner Schneepflug mit mechanischer Ein- und Ausschwenkvorrichtung.
