Baumstamm-Kufen – tree-trunk-skids – were used to move heavier guns in snow covered areas. They also consisted of two Radkufen – skids for wheels – and one Spornkufe – skid for trail spade. The Baumstamm-Kufen could be made by the troop itself. (Image from D 72)
