Rohrwagen (Af. 19)

Basically, the 10 cm schwere Kanone 18 and the 15 cm schwere Feldhaubitze 18 were transported in two parts when they were towed by horses. The corresponding gun barrel was transported with the Rohrwagen – barrel wagon – (Af. 19).

The Rohrwagen (Af. 19) consisted of a Vorderwagen – anterior wagon – and a Hinterwagen – rear wagon. A further Vorderwagen of the same construction was needed for the second part of the gun – the gun carriage. The Rohrwagen (Af. 19) was officially introduced with the A.H.M. 1935, Blatt 13 from 7th June 1935.
