Indiana Truck Corporation

 

 

 

 

 

The Harwood-Barley Manufacturing Co was founded in 1898 for the manufacturing of bed frames and bed springs. The firs lorry was presented in 1910 – the Truck No. 1001. In 1920, the name of the company was changed to Indiana Truck Corporation. Indiana was taken over by Brockway Motor Truck in 1927 which sold it to the White Motor Company in 1932. Under the direction of White, production was shifted to Cleveland, Ohio. Production of Indiana lorries was stopped in 1939. Over the years, several Indiana lorry models were offered with payloads up to 7.5 tons. The used engines originated fom Waukesha, Cummins and Herkules.
