In a one-off action, the remaining heavy passenger cars were converted to improvised personnel carriers and towing vehicles. This was done on the west front to match the demands for such vehicles for an upcoming invasion. This converted Chrysler C-22 Royal was used as towing vehicle for a 2 cm Flak 38.
