Chevrolet commercial - 1936

This Chevrolet commercial of the year of construction 1936 was used by a unit of the Luftwaffe. The driver’s cab does not correspond to the series. It could originate from the Benelux countries.

Sadly, the radiator grille of this Chevrolet lorry of the year of construction 1936 is not visible. But the ventilation louvres and the embossments on the driver’s cab are typical for this model. The lorry in the background is a Chevrolet of the year of construction 1939/40.

This is most probably the same lorry some time later. The vehicle seems to have been repaired after a damaged with parts from another vehicle. Anyhow, the front wheels, the mudguards and the engine bonnet originate from a Canadian Chevrolet lorry of the year of construction 1941!
