The Artillerie Regiment 14 (mot) of 14. Infanterie Division (mot) had at least one Chevrolet of the year of construction 1940. It was probably the model Special DeLuxe. The vehicle was marked correctly and had a Notek headlight.

Such a vehicle would be out of reach for most of the soldiers in civil life. This explains the large quantity of photos with such luxury vehicles. But the real stock of such vehicles was small. This Chevrolet cabriolet of the year of construction 1940 was most probably photographed in France.
