Standard Motor Company

 

 

 

 

 

The Standard Motor Company was founded in Coventry by Reginald Walter Maudslay in 1903. Before World War I, passenger cars and replacement engines were made. During World War I, mainly aircrafts were produced. Production of cars was continued in 1919. The Flying Standards series with a modern car body style was manufactured beginning in 1937. During World War II, mainly cars, delivery vans and aircrafts were manufactured.
