The Morris-Commercial CS8 for a payload of 15cwt was made in different variants beginning in 1934. The main series, Mark I, II and III, were made. It had rear wheel drive and was propelled by a six-cylinder petrol engine with a power of 60 HP. The illustrated vehicle was captured by a unit of the German Afrika-Korps.

Many Morris-Commercial CS8 were taken over by the Wehrmacht and were sometimes converted based on German specifications. This vehicle of the Waffen-SS was photographed in the railway station of Tours. Beginning in 1942, the Morris-Commercial C4 replaced the CS8. Basically, it was the same vehicle now propelled by a four-cylinder engine.
