The Commer Q 2 semi-trailer unit was used by the Royal Air Force for carrying parts of aircrafts etc. This captured vehicle was now used by Luftzeugstab 106 – an aircraft ordnance staff. This unit recovered grounded own and enemy aircrafts. In fact, it had own aircrafts. This was necessary to reach far-off areas of a crash to recover secret equipment from own machines and to analyse enemy aircrafts for their recovery worthiness.
