Associated Equipment Company (AEC)

 

 

 

 

 

The Associated Equipment Company (AEC) was founded in London in 1912. At first, buses were made. Beginning in 1916 also lorries. Until the end of World War I, AEC primarily produced for the army. After World War I, civilian variants were offered, too. During World War II, lorries were made for the army again. The AEC Matador was one of the best known.
