The engine bonnets and driver’s cabs of the VOMAG lorries were modernised in 1938. Beginning in 1940, VOMAG mainly made lorries with wood gas generator. The illustrated VOMAG type 4,5 LHG was made from 1941 to 1943 in about 700 exemplars. The photo was made in Lapland in 1944.
