From 1939 to 1943, the Trippel SG-6 Pionier amphibious car was made. The SG-6 Pionier had a car body broadened to two meters and doors in the sides. Up to 16 soldiers could be carried. This type was propelled by a 2.5 litres Opel engine. (Photo: NARA)
