Stoewer R 140 / R 150 / R 180

The Stoewer R 140 was manufactured beginning in 1932. It was propelled by a 30 HP four-cylinder engine with a cylinder capacity of 1355 ccm. In 1933, the cylinder capacity was enlarged to 1466 ccm. The R 150 offered beginning in 1934 had the same 1466 ccm engine which was strengthened to 35 HP. In 1935, the Stoewer R 180 was made which was now propelled by a 45 HP four- cylinder engine with a cylinder capacity of 1769 ccm. The R 180 differed from the predecessor models by the skirting panels on the front fenders. The shown Stoewer R 150 belonged to a unit of the Luftwaffe.
