The Magirus types M 25, M 27 and M 30’s main differences were their varying payloads and wheel bases. This one is most probably a Magirus M 30a, which served as kitchen lorry.

The Magirus M 30 was regularly made for the Wehrmacht, too. This Magirus M 30 platform lorry had the open standard driver’s cab - Einheitsführerhaus - of the Wehrmacht.

This Magirus M 30a is a Sammlerkraftwagen – battery-motor-vehicle – (Kfz. 42). The trailer in front of it is an Sd. Ah. 23. Good airing was necessary during battery charging due to explosive gas.
