In total, 1,020 exemplars of the Magirus M 10 were made from 1933 to 1937. It was propelled by a two-cylinder, two stroke petrol engine of the brand Ilo which had an output of 15, later 18 HP. The chassis had a carrying capacity of 1.3 tons. The payload was around one ton depending on the superstructure. Besides platform lorries, box-type lorries and fire fighting vehicles were made, too. The field kitchen vehicles were mainly made for organisations of the party. The Reichswehr resp. Wehrmacht had some Magirus M 10, mainly platform lorries, in their vehicle stock.
