The low frame chassis Magirus MLO for a payload of 3.5 to 4.0 tons was manufactured from 1929 to 1933. Starting first December 1930, it was re-designated Magirus M40. Besides the illustrated omnibus, platform lorries, dumpers and fire fighting vehicles were also made on this chassis.
