The COE omnibus MAN type DS was manufavtured from 1936 to 1937. Depending on the interior arrangement, it had up to 42 seats. It was propelled by a 80 HP six-cylinder diesel engine. From 1938 to 1940, the successor model MAN type LPS was manufactured which was propelled by six-cylinder diesel engines with 100 and 110 HP. Both types had a wheelbase of 4,500 mm. This MAN type DS / LPS was used by Organisation Todt which was mainly active by order of the Wehrmacht.
