The Mannschaftskraftwagen – personnel carrier – (Kfz. 70) mit Fahrgestell des l. gl. Lkw. (o) offered seats for the driver and – depending on the carried weapons – up to nine crewmen.  This Krupp L 2 H 43 had the three-shade camouflage finish of the Reichswehr. The photo was taken in Heuberg on 2nd July 1935.

The Mannschaftskraftwagen (Kfz. 70) could carry different infantry groups and their weapons like a rifle squad, a heavy machine gun squad or a mortar squad. Note the tactical sign of a motorised infantry company on the left mudguard of this Mannschaftskraftwagen (Kfz. 70) based on a Krupp L 2 H 143 chassis.
