One of the most frequent variants based on the leichte geländegängige Lastkraftwagen (o) was the Protzkraftwagen – motorised limber – (Kfz. 69). The illustrated vehicle is an early production model.

This Kfz. 69 based on a Krupp L 2 H 43 chassis had the short bumper introduced during the serial production of this model. Observe the changed ammunition boxes on the rear mudguards.

The Protzkraftwagen (Kfz. 69) offered seats for the driver and five crewmen. It was used as towing vehicle for the 3.7 cm Pak and the 7.5 cm le. IG. 18. The towing capacity is specified with 1,000 kg. This was not enough even for the 5 cm Pak 38. Therefore, production was stopped in 1942.
