The Henschel type 6 J was a little larger than the Henschel type 5 G. It was propelled by a 125 HP engine and it had a payload of 5.7 to 7.1 tons. The boxes between the bumper and the mudguards were characteristic for the Henschel type 6 J.
This bridge was to week for this Henschel type 6 J 2. According to the driver’s cab the vehicle originated from the Reichsbahn. Only 20 exemplars of the type 6 U 2, which was propelled by the U engine with 150 HP, were made in 1938/39.
During the war, some of the Henschel type 6 J 2 of the Reichsbahn were converted to railroad lorries.
