Serial production of the model C of the mittlerer Schützenpanzerwagen (Sd. Kfz. 251) was started early in 1941. The experiences made during the first campaigns led so several improvements. Several new manufacturers joined the manufacturing program. The company Boehm Leipa (EPA) was not able to supply welded armoured superstructures. This company delivered riveted armoured superstructures of the model C. Such a vehicle can be seen in the photo.
