The Hanomag 3/17 PS resp. 4/23 PS was made starting in 1931. Initially, the old vertical radiator grille was used. Beginning in 1932, a new slightly angular radiator grille was introduced. The Hanomag 3/18 PS was introduced late in 1932. But only the Hanomag 4/23 PS was a good seller. From 1934 to 1935, the Hanomag 4/23 PS was offered under the name Hanomag Garant. The illustrated car is a Hanomag 4/23 PS resp Garant of the years of construction 1932 to 1935.
