The Famo Type F 3 was manufactured beginning in 1939. The model F 3 is identifiable by the two cylindrical shok absorbers of the front axle (F 2 had only one). The one piece hood of the F 2 was replaced by a two piece hood divided into crew compartment and loading platform. Until the 135th vehicle, one piece rubber pads were used on the drive wheels. Beginning with the 136th vehicle the rubber pads were segmented.
