The DB s8 followed the DB s7 in 1936. Although the chassis number block reaches from 17101 to 17154, is must be questioned if the range was totally filled out. Besides the illustrated well know photo, only two further photos of this variant appeared till now. Compared to the DB s7, it had a lengthened running gear with an additional pair of road wheels. The car body was redesigned to fit to the standardised design of the German half-track vehicles.
