An interesting and rare vehicle was the Funkmastkraftwagen (Kfz. 301) mit Fahrgestell des m. gl. Lkw. (o) – radio mast motor vehicle (Kfz. 301) with chassis of the medium cross-country lorry (commercial). It seems that this variant was exclusively made on the chassis of the Mercedes-Benz LG 3000.

The vehicle in this photo and the photos below seems to be the initial model while the photo above illustrates the late production model. The illustrated Kfz. 301 had a camouflage finish consisting of dark-grey and dark-brown.

In this photo one can see a Funkmastkraftwagen (Kfz. 301) while the radio mast was raised. According to the high Kfz. number, the Kfz. 301 can clearly be identified as equipment of the Luftwaffe.
