Adler Favorit (2 U) Adler Standard 6 (3 U) Adler Diplomat (3 G)

In the year 1933, the redesigned Adler Favorit (2 U) and Standard 6 ((3 U) with more attractive car bodies were presented. The Favorit was only manufactured until 1934. Commencing in March 1934, the Adler Standard 6 (3 U) was offered as Adler Diplomat (3 G). Already since autumn 1933, the mudguards had received skirts, which can be seen on the illustrated vehicle.

A further Adler Diplomat (3 G) in the car body variant as cabriolet. The used six-cylinder engine had an output of 60 HP. With the illustrated radiator grille, the Diplomat was only manufactured in 1934.

The redesigned successor model Adler Diplomat 3Gd was manufactured from 1935 to 1940. The vehicles which were built in 1939 and 1940 were most probably cars for export and maybe some Kübelwagen. The illustrated cabriolet was most probably made in 1935.

The Adler Diplomat 3 Gd cabriolet with a car body of the company Karmann was manufactured from 1936 to 1938. The illustrated vehicle was used by a supply unit of 25. Infanterie Division (mot.) during the campaign against the Soviet Union. Although it had a license plate of the province Westphalia, it had received a camouflage finish and tactical markings.
