Beginning in 1927/28, the first AdlerKübelwagen based on Adler Standard 6 (10 N) chassis were procured by the Reichswehr. The early production models had seven wheel bolts.
There were only five wheel bolts on later vehicles. Other details like the frame of the windshield were redesigned, too. The illustrated vehicle was photographed during a military exercise near Fürth.
