As further development of the Willeme Liberty manufactured during World War I, the Willeme C for a payload of 6 tons was offered beginning in 1926. A first succesfull model was created with the Willeme C 7 which was manufactured from 1927 to 1931. The model series was improved continiously and the payload was increased to 7.5 tons. With the Willeme C 8 an express model with pneumatic tyres was introduced. The illustrated vehicle is most probably a C 8 or a C 7 which was modernised in the 1930s.
