The Renault UE was an armoured supplying vehicle of the French army. The Wehrmacht used it as towing vehicle for anti tank guns. This combination consisted of a UE tractor, a tracked trailer and a 3.7 cm Pak.

Larger loads like this 7.5 cm Pak 40 could be towed by the UE tractor, too. Mainly, these combinations were used by tank hunter units of infantry divisions.

|
Sometimes, the 3.7 cm Pak were mounted directly on Renault UE tractors. In this way, simple self propelled anti tank guns were created.
