The Renault ADR 1 was manufactured beginning in 1935. It had a payload of 3.5 tons. Nearly 400 exemplars of this type were delivered to the French Army and the Gendarmerie. This captured Renault ADR 1 had the license number WH-109818.
Commencing in 1937, Simplex rims were used, too. This captured Renault ADR 1 had the license number WH-37515.
