Altogether 36 exemplars of the Lorraine 24-58 tank lorry with a capacity of 8,500 litres were manufactured for the French Air Force in 1940. The vehicle was based on a license by Tatra and was propelled by a Tatra Type 58 petrol engine with a capacity of 12,215 cm³ and an output of 110 HP at 1,500 RPM.
