Although the Latil M2 TZ chassis was already available in 1935, the first serial vehicles were delivered in 1939. At the beginning of the German attack in the west, about 90 Latil M2 TZ existed in the French army, the navy and the air force. This damaged vehicle was photographed on a German collecting point for war materials.
