Chevrolet-C30 / Ford-F30

The Canadian 30cwt lorry was made by Chevrolet (C30) and Ford (F30) in Canada. This C/F30 had the early No. 12 driver’s cab. Chevrolet and Ford used many standard components. Only the engines, the transmission and the rear axles were factory own components.

Most of the captured vehicles were captured and used by the German Afrika Korps - see the photo above. The lower photo proves that such vehicles were captured and used also in the European war theatre.
