The Raupenschlepper Ost - tracked tractor east, abbreviated RSO, was made in large numbers beginning in autumn 1942. It had a payload of 1,500 kg. According to different K.St.N., it was used as towing vehicle for several guns and the 12 cm mortar but also for the transportation of equipment, baggage and ammunition.
