In D 600 from April 1940, there was no type data sheet of a schwerer geländegängiger Lastkraftwagen mit geschlossenem Aufbau (o) - heavy cross-country lorry with closed superstructure (commercial), abbreviated s. gl. Lkw. mit geschl. Aufbau (o). This class was created after the new heavy 4.5 ton lorries with all-wheel drive were introduced in 1940.
