Commercial omnibuses with a maximum weight of up to 7,300 kg and 15 to 30 seats were classified as mittlerer Kraftomnibus (o) - medium motor bus (commercial), abbreviated m. Kom. (o). The key factor was the number of seats. The MAN E 3000 bus was a typical vehicle of this class. The m. Kom. (o) was also used as Befehlskraftwagen - command motor vehicle, Funkauswertekraft- wagen - radio analysing motor vehicle - and Laboratoriumskraftwagen - laboratory motor vehicle. During war, other purposes were added.
