Commercial motorcycles with an engine capacity of up to 350 ccm and a dead weight of up to 150 kg were classified as leichtes Kraftrad (o) - light motorcycle (commercial), abbreviated l. Krad. (o). The key factor was the engine capacity. The BMW R 35 was a typical vehicle of this class. In fact it had a dead weight of 155 kg but the 350 ccm engine met the demands.
