Only limited information is available about the Laboratoriumskraftwagen - laboratory motor vehicle - (Kfz. 72) mit Fahrgestell des m. gl. Lkw. (o). Most probably it is one of the developments of the early 1930s. Until now, the designation is not proven but obvious because most of the closed superstructions based on this chassis were designated as Kfz. 72 at that time.
