The offener Radkastenaufbau - open wheel-hous superstructure - was only rarely used in combination with the Opel Blitz 3.6-6700 A. In the case of the all-wheel driven model, the shovel and the pickaxe were mounted to both sides of the engine bonnet and not on the sides of the platform superstructure like in the case of the S-type.
