Starting in 1941 or 1942, the Stuttgart based company Hahn & Kolb delivered Werkstatt- kraftwagen - workshop motor vehicles - to the Wehrmacht. The superstructure was similar to that of the Werkstattkraftwagen (Kfz. 79).
The lower part of the dropsides could be folded down to create a larger platform and the upper part could be folded up. The exact designation of the vehicles could not be found until now.
